PURPOSE:
To provide scholarship funds for zone 5 youth members pursuing college education.

WHO QUALIFIES?
Any youth member in good standing from one of the Zone 5 states. This fund is dedicated, but not limited, to college-age students between the ages of 18-24 years.

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS:
The scholarship award shall be determined by the zone 5 committee. Multiple scholarships may be given if monies allow. Funds will be paid directly to the educational institution, and shall ONLY be used for tuition and /or books.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS COMMITTEE:
Shall consist of three 3 Zone 5 directors appointed by the Zone 5 Committee President. The President shall serve as a non-voting member. The decision of the Scholarship Awards Committee shall be final.

HOW TO APPLY:
Applicants must submit the official application form to the Zone 5 Scholarship Awards Committee. Applications will be accepted by the Scholarship Awards Committee until June 1 of each year. Scholarship awards may be presented by one or more of the Zone 5 directors in the State of the winning applicant. The scholarship award is a one-time award, and students are eligible to reapply and receive funding in successive years.
