Held in conjunction with IPHC Fall Futurity & Show
$200 added per class

Weanling Fillies
Weanling Stallions
Yearling Mares
Yearling Geldings
Yearling Stallions

$200 added to classes with 11 or more entries shown
$100 added to classes with 10 or less entries shown

$50.00 one-time payment only if paid before May1
$80.00 May 2 through July 1
$120.00 July 2 through August 15th
$240.00 August 16 to day of show
Postmark will determine strict cutoff date on all payments.

For registered Paint horses, including Breeding Stock

Premiums will be paid to 4 places for the first 10 entries shown plus 1 additional place for every 3 entries shown over 10. Premiums will be mailed as soon as reasonably possible.

Age splits for weanlings will be made day of show. In the case of a mid-point falling on a date which is more than one foal’s birth date, all foals born on that date will go into the same class as to put as near equal numbers as possible into each class. In the case of an odd number, the early class will be larger. Any foals already gelded will go into their corresponding stallion class.

Each futurity entry will be charged an office fee the day of the show. It is the responsibility of the owner or exhibitor to present registration papers and to verify entry form for correctness, the exhibitor, sign the form and pay the office fee and any other monies owed for that entry. It is also the responsibility of the owner and exhibitor to verify current IPHC Membership.

All entries are subject to drug testing under current APHA rules. A positive drug test for any prohibited substance will disqualify the entry and any earned premiums will be forfeited. All positive drug tests will be forwarded to the APHA for further APHA disciplinary action as the APHA determines to be necessary. 

1. Refunds will be awarded to owners of stillborn or lethal white foals upon written notification to the futurity secretary on or before July 15 of year foaled. Veterinarian statement must be included. Office charge will be retained. 
2. No substitutions can be made for any entries. 
3. Withdrawals or disqualifications forfeit all fees paid.
4. Transferred horses must be reported by sending a copy of transfer papers to the futurity secretary.
5. Copies of Registration papers must accompany all yearling entries.
6. Registration papers or copy thereof must be presented the day of the show to verify entry.
7. IPHC Membership is required of all owners and exhibitors before entry is shown. 
8. Make checks payable to Iowa Paint Horse Club or IPHC.
9. IPHC Membership must be on a separate check from entry payment.
10. Non-sufficient funds checks will automatically be re-deposited. Any check returned not paid by the bank two times will immediately void the entry or entries.
11. All rules not on this form will follow APHA rules.
12. The IPHC Board of Directors reserves the right to interpret, amend and enforce the above rules. Any decision concerning the application or interpretation of these rules by the IPHC Board of Directors will be final. Any person participating in this futurity, including but not limited to owners, exhibitors, handlers and consignors, shall indemnify and hold harmless the Iowa Paint Horse Club, its officers, directors and employees from and against all claims, demands, causes of actions and expenses of every kind including attorney fees arising out of or related to in any manner to the acts of omissions of an owner, exhibitor, handler or consignor, or the actions of any animal under the care, custody, or control of the owner, exhibitor, handler, or consignor. Every person and legal entity by participation in this Futurity does thereby agree: (1) If unsuccessful in an attempt to overturn Iowa Paint Horse Club decisions, actions, rules or regulations, to reimburse the Iowa Paint Horse Club for its reasonable attorney fees, court costs and other reasonable expenses incurred in defense of such suit; and (2) That no action will be commenced, whether in law or equity against the Iowa Pain Horse Club in any court other than the Iowa District Court for Polk County, Iowa.
